It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved community member, Br. Syed Wasim Sajjad Jafry.

He was the husband of Tayyaba Jafry (Jhunna Apa), father of Syed Rizwan Jafry (Shad) and Syed Irfan Jafry, and grandfather of Kamran, Suleman, Usman, Ramsha, Zian, Alina, and Anaya.

He was also the brother-in-law of Sofia Anjum Taj and Dr. Syed Taj, Syed Aslam, and the late Syed Masood; brother of Syed Farhan Jafry and Syed Arshad Jafry; mamu of Rafat Arshi Ahmad, Syed Shariq Ahmed, and Shabana Najmi Ahmad; and chacha of Syed Shariq Jafry.

The Janazah prayer will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, after Dhuhr prayer at 2:00 PM at MCWS (40440 Palmer Rd, Canton, MI).
