Mansoor Nasir

I have been a Canton resident since 2012 when we moved here from Virginia to be close to family. Alhamdulillah I have four kids (three girls and a boy) ranging from 21 to 9 yrs. All our kids have gone through CAI at some point. My wife, Amina Iqbal, is the director of Canton library board (and arguably better for the shura position but her time is limited).

I have a PhD from UC Berkeley and by profession, I am a research engineer at Ford Motor Company in Human factors and driver behavior. In my past career, I was a full-time faculty at Lawrence Tech University

I am really interested in mentoring and guiding our youth in STEM and research. I have participated in various MCWS and community programs and initiatives in the past, although not consistently. If chosen for this responsibility/Amana, iA I can continue to serve the community in a more consistent and official role.
